Community Sharing

As part of The Food Co-ops cooperative spirit, it is our mission to support the greater community in a variety of ways.  We commit to sharing our prosperity  by providing financial and organizational resources when feasible.  To be considered, all donation requests must be submitted a minimum of two weeks in advance.  Donations are considered on a first come first serve basis.

Ways We Give Back

Food Donations

We donate food weekly to the Jefferson County Foodbank.

Beans 4 Bags

We reward customers reusing grocery bags by allowing them to donate .08 to a non-profit of their choice.

Donations

We support local non-profits and cooperatives financially and in-kind to meet their organizational needs.

Grow Fund

We grant funds to a community project yearly that aims to build community resilience.

    APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE TO BE CONSIDERED

    Please note that all donation requests are considered relative to the number of requests received in the same month, the dollar amount of the request, and feasibility of providing funds at the time of the donation.

  • Jefferson County Non-Profit Organizations, Cooperatives, Community Non-Profit Groups

    WE DO NOT ACCEPT donation requests from the following:
    Political Groups • Specific individuals • Identical Requests from Multiple People • Third-Party Fundraisers
